Emeritus at Lakeview is the next closest place that your senior family member may call
home. The assisted living/memory care community has all the attributes of home for its
residents. Music is one of the hallmarks of activities provided at Emeritus. The community
features live music 3-4 times per week. Two Groveport bands practice on a bi-weekly basis
at the community. Emeritus residents have an opportunity to participate in the music
rehearsals. Music is also a major endeavor for Emeritus' memory care residents.
Those who live on the memory care side of the community participate in life stage activities. Depending on what life stage, i.e. the profession the person had when they
were working, the person is in Emeritus has activities to meet the residents needs for that
particular life phase.
Other community activities include monthly family celebrations which focus on a different
country. Jamaica was the featured country in January. Emeritus' chef prepares cuisine and
drink specialties from the featured country. Approximately 100 or more resident family and
friends participate in the celebrations. China, Madagascar and the Netherlands are other
countries that will be featured in upcoming months. Bingo, ping pong, pool, weekly happy
hours, shopping and restaurant trips are additional activities offered at Emeritus. More

Emeritus' at Lakeviews' longevity, since 1998, in the Groveport area demonstrates its
commitment to enriching the lives of seniors. Some staff members have worked there
